Vintage Peradon Maple Cue ( Read Description)

This is a 1 piece Clare/Padmore/Thurston snooker cue made by Peradon. The cue was released in 1981 to coincide with the 3 companies being amalgamated into Peradon.
The cue has a maple shaft and is hand spliced with 3 ebony splices and one rosewood splice, this is very unusual.
The cue is 58 inches long is stamped 17oz but weighs 15.7oz and the tip is 9.7mm.
I believe this cue has been repaired and I've photographed this area so any perspective buyer can see this.
The cue is perfectly usable and the repair is stable but if you feel this is unacceptable please don't bid as I can't and won't accept returns, I just want the listing to be honest.
The cue is mostly straight but I'd describe it as whippy but it does get through the ball well when cued correctly.
I'll post the cue in a plastic tube and I use Parcelforce.
